GEYSIR CAR RENTAL is a family run company that was founded in 1973. After merging with a foreign franchise in the 1990s, the company was resurrected in its present form in 2003 and now offers top quality car rental and related services through our dynamic, easy to use website.

This strategy has enabled us to eliminate unnecessary, costly and complicated elements from the booking process, thus enhancing the user experience. We were the first car rental in Iceland to offer instant quotes and availability based on a live inventory and we continue to evolve the business to make sure that customers find it easy to choose the perfect vehicle for their Iceland adventure.

Geysir Car Rental has grown and gone through many changes in the last decade and is now one of the largest independent car rental companies in Iceland.

From a fleet of 1,000 we offer a wide range of new, well maintained vehicles from N. America, Europe and Asia which can be collected from any of our three locations around the country - Keflavik International Airport, Reykjavik and Akureyri Airport.
